Microsoft withdraws about 1,500 false applications from the Store Windows
False applications seeking to mislead its users to cheat them are a problem that affects all platforms such as Android, iOS and Windows Phone. Before esto, Microsoft has decided to take on the issue and started to clean up its Store Windows of misleading applications, announcing policies of use tighter from now on later.
The head of Microsoft, Todd Brix, applications stores said that the Redmond company recently set out to review applications which do not comply with the terms of service of Microsoft to remove them from the store.
While some developers decided to modify their apps to so comply with this legislation, "others have been less responsive", and as a result, Microsoft removed some 1,500 applications from its store.
For example, the policies of the company indicate that applications should have clear and distinct icons to not be confused with other apps. However, there were false applications that masqueraded as the popular VLC Player, and seeking to scam to people who unloaded them. All of these were eliminated.
This is one of the better step taken Microsoft to Secure Windows phones by Removing such false apps.
